Bandh In Raichur Extensive Vehicle Checks In Border Areas

Maganur: Karnataka Dalit caste organizations will organize a Raichur Bandh on Wednesday to protest against the Congress government’s negligence in implementing ABCD reservations for SCs and STs. On this occasion, tents are being set up on national highways in the district headquarters and a 12-hour protest is being held.

As a result, the police placed barricades across the road at the Tire Road Circle on the state border to prevent vehicles from going to Karnataka from Telangana in Raichur district (Vehicle Checking).

Shakti Nagar SI Narayana in Karnataka said that as a precaution due to the bandh, Maktal CI Ram Lal Krishna, SI Naveed, Maganur SI Revathi, Maktal SI Bhagyalakshmi, Reddy and others along with them have carried out vehicle checks at the Karnataka border in Telangana. Due to the checks, vehicles were stopped at the check posts, resulting in a huge traffic jam for about 5-6 kilometers.
