More than 1,250 farmers participated in the Yamunanagar Kisan Mela.

A district-level kisan mela was organised at Fatehpur village in Yamunanagar district under the aegis of the Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA).
Mukesh Garg, member of the Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission, was the chief guest at the event.
Aditya Pratap Dabas, Deputy Director of Agriculture (DDA), Yamunanagar, said that the programme witnessed a massive turnout of around 1,250 farmers, including nearly 40 per cent women participants.
In his address, Mukesh Garg highlighted the crucial role of electricity in modern agriculture. A key highlight of his speech was the announcement regarding the government’s decision to establish a separate Power Corporation for Agriculture.
