Haryana Sees Surge In Deaths Caused By Heart Attacks

After the Corona epidemic (Corona Virus), heart attack deaths have increased in the country. There are arguments that the Corona vaccine is the main reason for this. But some say that vaccines are not the reason. In this context, the number of heart attack deaths in Haryana in the last six years is worrying. The Haryana government announced in the assembly that nearly 18,000 people in the age group of 18-45 years have died of heart attacks in the last six years.
A Congress MLA questioned in the Assembly about deaths due to heart attacks among the youth. The MLA asked to know how many people died of heart attacks from which district and at what age from January 2020 to January 2026. Is there any connection between those deaths and the coronavirus and Covid vaccination? Has any survey been conducted in that direction? The question was asked. The government replied that no such survey had been conducted. However, it provided information collected district-wise.
The government said that 2,394 people died of heart attacks in 2020, 3,188 in 2021, 2,796 in 2022, 2,886 in 2023, 3,063 in 2024, 3,255 in 2025, and 391 in January 2026, for a total of 17,973 people. The government said that the number of deaths was highest in Yamunanagar district and lowest in Rohtak district.
