Tamil Nadu: Two seats for New Justice Party

Tamil Nadu: Party leader A.C. Shanmugam stated that the AIADMK has given one seat and the BJP has given one seat to the New Justice Party.

Parties within the National Democratic Alliance were given seats, but the New Justice Party was the only party not allotted seats. New Justice Party leader A.C. Shanmugam met with AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi Palaniswami in Chennai on Friday to discuss seat-sharing. Afterward, he told reporters: The AIADMK has given the Madurai Central seat to the New Justice Party. The BJP leadership has assured us of a seat. The AIADMK is my mother’s home. My mother’s home has been given a seat as a gift. I am joining the BJP because it is a home I have come into. Therefore, they will also give a seat to the New Justice Party. Candidates for both seats will be announced soon. He said that the New Justice Party will contest the elections under the two leaves symbol in the constituencies given by AIADMK and under the lotus symbol in the constituencies given by BJP.
