Varun Tej enters the ring.. Director says he will make it in Telugu, not Malayalam

Mega Prince Varun Tej’s latest film ‘Bari’, produced by his sister Niharika Konidela, opened on Saturday. The project, which is being produced under the banner of Pink Elephant Pictures, is being directed by young director Yadu Vamsi. The pooja programs were held on March 28 with great fanfare, and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and Power Star Pawan Kalyan attended the ceremony as the chief guest and blessed the film unit. Pawan Kalyan himself clapping for the muhurta scene was a special attraction of the program. Varun Tej got emotional on this occasion and said that he was very happy that Pawan Kalyan was present and blessed him even in the midst of his busy schedule.
Photos of the entire Mega Family appearing on the same stage are currently going viral on social media. Director Yadu Vamsi’s comments at the press meet related to the film have become a topic of discussion in the industry. He clarified that there is a perception that sports dramas and realistic stories are the ones that people look towards, namely Malayalam films, but that the Telugu film industry also has great content and that they have the ability to make films that reflect our culture and values. Reminding that there are examples of Telugu films that have achieved success with new concepts in the past, he said that he is trying to give the audience a new experience with ‘Bari’.
He expressed confidence that the audience will definitely support it if the content is strong. Yadhu Vamsi, who gained recognition with the film ‘Committee Kurrollu’, has made a good name with his first film. Now he is making ‘Bari’ as a rural sports drama with Varun Tej. It is noteworthy that Varun Tej will be seen in the role of a volleyball player in this film. The makers are planning to release this film as a Sankranti 2027 gift. There are already huge expectations on this project, which is coming in the combination of Varun Tej – Niharika Konidela – Yadhu Vamsi. It remains to be seen how much this film with a rural setting, sports spirit and emotions will impress the audience.
