Strange eagle rescued in Nittammamidi, protected by forest department

Visakhapatnam: The sighting of a unique eagle in the Nittammadi area sparked curiosity among locals. Upon receiving the information, a Forest Department team arrived at the scene and took immediate action to safely rescue the bird.
During the rescue, the team first cleared the crowd gathered to prevent the eagle from being stressed or harmed. Trained personnel then carefully captured the eagle, using gloves and other safety equipment to ensure the safety of both the bird and the team.
After capturing the eagle, it was placed in a secure box to provide a calm environment. The team then took it to a nearby veterinarian, where it underwent a health checkup. The examination ensured it had no injuries or illnesses.
Following the initial examination, the eagle was kept under observation for a period of time to ensure its condition returned to normal. Experts stated that if the eagle is found to be completely healthy, it will be released back into its natural habitat.
The Forest Department has appealed to the people that in such a situation, they should not try to catch or tease any bird themselves and immediately inform the concerned authorities, so that the rescue can be done safely.
