Neighbor raped a minor boy in UP’s Bijnor, accused arrested

Bijnor (IANS) | A neighbor committed unnatural sex with a minor boy in Najibabad police station area of Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh. The incident happened about four days back.

Najibabad police station in-charge (SHO) Arjun Singh said, a man has been arrested for having unnatural sex with a minor and is a neighbor of the victim’s family and used to visit their house frequently.

The accused has been identified as Tushar.

On Sunday, the teenager was playing alone outside the house when the incident took place. The accused took him to his home on the pretext of getting chocolates. When the boy came back home, the parents found him scared and crying. The victim narrated the ordeal to the parents.

The station in-charge said that the family immediately informed the police about the incident.

The SHO said, the accused has been arrested. We have registered an FIR against the accused under IPC section 377 (unnatural sex act) as well as relevant sections of the POCSO Act on the complaint of the boy’s mother.
