436 projects in focus at CM Joseph Vijay’s first cabinet meeting

Tamil Nadu: Tamil Nadu’s new Chief Minister S. His first cabinet meeting was held on Friday under the chairmanship of Joseph Vijay. In this meeting, it was discussed to set targets for implementing a total of 436 projects under all the ministries. The meeting lasted for about an hour, in which ministers from 35 departments of the state were involved. Prominent ministers include Rural Development Minister N. Anand, Public Works Minister Aadhav Arjun and Revenue Minister K.A. Sengottaiyan was included.

After the meeting, Power and Law Minister Nirmal Kumar told the media that the cabinet has set visionary targets for each department on the basis of the projects included in the Teva election manifesto. He said that under the theme of “Vijay Tamil Nadu”, a target has been set to implement a total of 436 projects in the state. These projects focus on improving facilities and services for citizens in education, health, rural development, infrastructure and other critical sectors.

Nirmal Kumar said that the Chief Minister has instructed all the ministers and officials to prepare a detailed plan as to how and in what time each project can be implemented. He said that this decision will be taken on the basis of advice and suggestions of officials and ministers of all departments.

Experts believe that this first step reflects the working style of the new government, in which emphasis has been laid on prompt and effective implementation of schemes. Implementing 436 projects will be a challenging task, but it is likely to accelerate the pace of development of the state.
