The Railway Police has appealed to passengers to immediately report any such incidents to the nearest Railway Police Station or helpline so that timely action can be taken. Passengers have also been urged not to ignore any suspicious or violent behavior.
Following this incident, discussions have begun on the need to further strengthen railway security. Experts believe that CCTV surveillance, deployment of security personnel, and rapid response mechanisms on local trains need to be made more effective.
