Andhra: Parent-teacher coordination is key to a student’s success.
Machilipatnam: Lady Ampthill Government Girls’ High School here organised its Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) 4.0 on Friday, bringing together parents, teachers, students, and community leaders in a vibrant celebration of partnership in education. The event, held on the school premises, was presided over by Headmistress Kodali Sreerama. The programme was attended by prominent advocate Gorrepati Gopichand, former Grandhalaya Samstha chairman Lenkasetti Balaji, and 12th Ward Councilor Logisetty Swamy as chief guests. Addressing the gathering, they highlighted the importance of strong collaboration between parents and teachers in shaping students’ academic success and personal development. To promote greater parental involvement, the school organised a variety of competitions for parents, adding a fun and interactive dimension to the meeting.
Officials from the District Education Department, AD-1 Meenakshi and AD-2 Vidyalatha, attended the event and appreciated the active participation of parents and students. School Education Committee chairperson Sk Jaheedunnisa also lauded the school’s efforts in fostering a collaborative learning environment through such initiatives. Teachers, including Hymavathi, K Somashekar and other faculty members, played an active role in coordinating and conducting the programme, ensuring its smooth and successful execution.
