Before the meeting of opposition parties in Patna, Manjhi increased the tension of Nitish
Patna (IANS) | Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar these days is engaged in uniting the opposition parties of BJP. A meeting of opposition parties is going to be held in Patna on June 12 regarding this. Meanwhile, the Hindustani Awam Morcha, which is part of the ruling Grand Alliance in Bihar, increased the tension of Nitish Kumar by demanding five seats in the Lok Sabha elections. Now the BJP is taking a jibe at it.
With regard to the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Jitan Ram Manjhi, patron of the Hindustani Awam Morcha, has made an open demand for five seats for us. Along with this, to create pressure, he has also said that the right is more, but if this too is not received, then he will leave.
In such a situation, the government may not face any problem, but it can definitely be considered as a setback for Nitish Kumar, who is engaged in opposition unity.
Manjhi, however, also praised Nitish’s efforts to unite the opposition parties.
Here, the leaders of the Grand Alliance are not opening their mouths on Manjhi’s statement, but BJP spokesperson Arvind Singh said that Manjhi’s demand is correct and the Grand Alliance should accept his demand. He said that Manjhi is entitled.
It is worth mentioning that Manjhi had also met Union Home Minister Amit Shah after going to Delhi in April.
