Big B revealed, why does he meet fans barefoot?

Mumbai (IANS) | Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has revealed why he greets his fans outside the house barefoot every Sunday. Amitabh shared several pictures on his blog greeting fans outside his house. He also shared pictures of drinking water kept outside due to the heat.

He wrote: I realized that they (fans) wait for hours in this scorching heat, so 4 containers, 2 on either side of the gate to provide drinking water to quench the thirst ‘Matka’ on top of ‘Matka’ which occurs permanently during the day and night.

The star mentioned why he greets fans barefoot.

I am always asked ‘Who goes to meet fans barefoot’? I tell them, ‘I go..you go to the temple barefoot..my well wishers are like a temple to me!!
