One accused arrested with 51 pauva country liquor
Balod. Gunderdehi police has taken major action against the person selling liquor illegally. In fact, under the guidance of Superintendent of Police Jitendra Kumar Yadav, the direction of Additional Superintendent of Police Harish Rathore, the supervision of Sub-Divisional Officer Police Subdivision Gundardehi Gita Wadhwani and the leadership of Police Station in-charge Gundardehi Inspection Veena Yadav to curb illegal liquor selling and transportation in the police station area. The campaign is underway.
In this episode, information was received from the informer that a person is selling liquor illegally by keeping excessive quantity of liquor behind the paan cart near Oteband Tirah. On the spot, in front of the witnesses, a person was caught illegally selling 51 pauva country liquor, who on asking his name and address, told his name to be Govardhan Lal Chandrakar father Shatruhan Chandrakar, age 39, resident of village Oteband police station Gundardehi. Crime number 233/23 Section 34 (2) Excise Act has been framed against the accused and he has been sent to jail on judicial remand.
