Under the direction of Superintendent of Police Divyang Patel, all the gazetted officers and police station in-charge and traffic in-charge have been directed to take action by intensive checking of vehicles driving under the influence of alcohol. Till now a case is being sent to the Hon’ble Court by preparing an Istgasha against 52 drivers. In Section 185 of the Motor Vehicle Act, there is a provision of punishment of 6 months or 10000.
