In these districts, alert has been issued in Balodabazar, Bilaspur, Durg, Janjgir-Champa. At the same time, alert has also been issued in Mahasamund, Mungeli, Raigarh, Raipur, Rajnandgaon.

According to the information received from the Meteorological Department, heat wave and severe heat conditions may continue in Chhattisgarh till June 19. People will not get relief from the heat for the coming few days. It is expected that by June 21, the entry of monsoon can be through Bastar in Chhattisgarh. Monsoon is likely to reach Raipur by June 24.
