Illegal transportation and excavation of sand is being done day and night without fear of mafia

Baloda Bazar. Every year after June 15, the government issues instructions to completely stop sand mining in the state. After this, the work of sand mining stops in the state. But a different law is going on in Baloda Bazar district. Here the sand mafia is fearlessly defrauding the government of revenue of more than 50 lakhs every day. Illegal transportation and excavation of sand is being done here day and night. The lack of action in this matter is beyond comprehension.

20 to 25 sand ghats are approved in the district. In which mining is done in more than a dozen sand ghats. These sand ghats were to be completely closed after 15 June. But far from closing the ghat, now the mafia is mining sand 24 hours a day. Due to which the government is suffering a loss of 50 lakhs every day, while the mafia is storing it at many places after sand mining. So that sand can be sold at high prices during rains.

The environment department has directed that sand mining should be done manually. But mining is being done through mining mafia machines. The mafia takes sand mining permission from machines so that maximum mining can be done. Excavation has not stopped in Datrangi, Datan, Bamhani, Mohan, Charoda Siriyadih, Chichpol, Putpura, Putpura 2, Bladakchhar Ghats keeping the rules in check.
