As soon as the name of Bollywood comes, we remember the shining life of many big actors associated with this industry. However, behind making these actors stars, there is a hand of many such people, who live behind the camera. In most of the films, we see a large number of extras (junior actors). The life of these junior artistes who are used as property in the background of actors is full of difficulties. Every junior artist who sleeps in a small room in Mumbai dreams of becoming a superstar of the big screen. But only a few people are able to fulfill this dream. ‘Tiku Weds Sheru’ is the story of one such junior artist. This romantic film by Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur has been released on Prime Video. Must read this review before watching this movie produced by Kangana Ranaut.
,Story
The story of the film revolves around two interesting characters Tiku and Sheru. Sheru is a junior artist living in Mumbai who is replaced in every scene due to his over acting, the actor does many wrong things to survive in this city. Although his dream is to become a director, but more than a junior actor, he is identified as a ‘pimp’ who, along with his friend Anand (Mukesh S Bhatt), supplies girls to rich and big political leaders.
MP’s Tiku befriends Sheru, who is burdened with the debt he has taken to make his film. Despite having a boyfriend, Tiku says yes to marry Sheru because of her dream of becoming a heroine in Mumbai. However, when she comes to Mumbai, she finds out that the boyfriend for whom she has come to Mumbai is already married. During this, he gets another big shock. Now what kind of storm has come in Tiku and Sheru’s life, will this relationship built on the foundation of lies last long? Tiku Weds Sheru is one of those movies which tells how the story will end within 15 minutes of its opening. The screen play and writing is quite predictable. Though the director has tried his best to keep the audience engaged with the story but it is very difficult. There are films that show how girls are pushed into prostitution by giving them a chance to become heroines, a track we have seen over the years. The concept of Tiku Weds Sheru was good as per the plot of the story. But the writing and direction of the film makes it boring. This script needed more work. In some comedy scenes, there is no laughter at all, while some scenes are completely beyond logic.
acting
Nawazuddin Siddiqui has given his 100 percent in the character of Sheru. Sheru’s false swag, English speaking acting, Sheru’s struggle to keep the family happy has been presented by Nawaz very effectively. Avneet Kaur is also fine in her character. But in this story revolving around Nawazuddin, Avneet does not give much importance to other characters. Still Zakir Hussain, Mukesh S Bhatt, Vipin Sharma and others try to do justice to their roles.
Cinematography, Editing and Music
The cinematography of the film is the real hero of this drama, when it comes to music, the songs do not do anything special, but the last song of the film brings a surprise to the audience. More hard work should have been done on the editing table on this film.

what are the flaws
Usually the life stories of junior actors leave the audience emotional, but the film ‘Tiku Weds Sheru’ failed to create such an emotional connect with the audience. When Tiku learns that she has been cheated, she tries to commit suicide. However, their pain does not reach our hearts. Seeing the liplock in the trailer of the film, even if you expect romance, then it is useless. There were high expectations from Kangana Ranaut’s film ‘Tiku Weds Sheru’, which made a hard hit film like ‘Fashion’, but the film disappointed at every turn. Please tell that Kangana’s cameo has also failed to save this film.
