Chhattisgarh police busted betting panel, arrested 6 accused

Bhilai. Durg police has taken major action against online satta app. Durg police has demolished the panels of online betting. Police has arrested 6 bookies from Visakhapatnam from here. Mahadev is the bookie of the online betting app and Reddy Anna. The branch was being run at Madhurwada in Visakhapatnam region. Transactions of betting money were being done from several bank accounts. Whereas, 1 laptop, 10 mobiles, 3 ATM cards were seized from these accused. Many documents including 3 checkbooks, Wi-Fi router were also recovered. Joint action was taken by Bhilai-3 police with ACCU.

Let us inform that in the past also the police had arrested 7 accused from the fort. According to the police, two panels were operating in the branch named Mahadev Book-128 and Reddy Book-421 in Rajkishore Nagar area of Bilaspur district. Police said that the betting money was being transacted through various bank accounts. Four laptops, 23 mobiles, ATM cards, check books and other documents were recovered from the possession of the seven accused.
