Married woman dies due to pesticide consumption, fear of murder
In Pratapgarh Rathanjana police station area Chhota Majisaria village, a case of drinking pesticide by a newly married woman amidst a domestic dispute has come to the fore. The brother of the deceased Shivlal told that my sister Deepika was married to Sunil Meena about 7 years back. Both were good with each other for some time, after that there was a dispute between the two on small matters. My sister Deepika first came to our Banediya Khurd house, after that she went to her house and they had a fight and then gave her insecticide, after which her in-laws brought her to the hospital. When the condition worsened during treatment, he was taken to Udaipur.
Died during treatment on the way. The married woman also has a two and a half year old daughter. Rathanjana police station officer Devi Lal Khatik said that Deepmala’s (21) wife Sunil Meena consumed insecticide late last evening around 6 pm, brought her to the hospital when her health deteriorated and was referred to Udaipur from here. Deepmala’s brother Madan gave a report at the hospital’s mortuary. Told that the in-laws first thrashed my sister and then gave her poison. We got information from the village that our sister was taken to the hospital by her in-laws. When we reached Pratapgarh, we came to know that he has been referred to Udaipur, after which we got the news of his death.
