Tehsildar suspended, Additional Collector held Tehsildar guilty in investigation
Korea. The Tehsildar has been suspended by the Divisional Commissioner after being found guilty in the investigation after receiving a complaint related to Khasra number. The case is related to village Cher of Baikunthpur. Where a complaint was received from the Additional Collector of the district regarding the land of Khasra No. 255/2 (Small-Big Jhar Jungle item) in newspapers and Jan Choupal. Based on the facts and documents obtained in the investigation report, the then Tehsildar Baikunthpur Manharan Rathia has been found guilty.
The said act of Rathia is totally contrary to the Chhattisgarh Civil Services (Conduct) Rules, 1965. Divisional Commissioner Surguja Division has suspended Manharan Rathia, the then Tehsildar Baikunthpur, currently Tehsildar District Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur under Rule 9(1)(a) of Chhattisgarh Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules 1966 with immediate effect. Rathia will be eligible for subsistence allowance as per rules during the suspension period. During the period of suspension, his headquarters is fixed at District Election Office Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur.
