Police officer’s daughter attempted suicide

Bilaspur. In Bilaspur on Wednesday night, a girl was jumping into the Arpa river from the Indira Setu bridge. Seeing him, two youths passing by stopped him. Then handed him over to the police. It is being told that the girl is the daughter of the ASI of the Police Department. The girl told that she was taking this step after being fed up of personal problems. The case is of Civil Line police station area.

According to the information, the incident took place on Wednesday night around 8.30 pm. A young woman was coming to the Indira Setu bridge on foot from Kududand side. After reaching the middle of the bridge, she was trying to jump into the river. During this, two youths passing by saw him. Seeing his antics, the youths tried to stop him and caught hold of the girl. After this, a crowd of people gathered there.
