Dead body of professor found hanging from railing in college campus
Madhepura (IANS). The body of a professor was found hanging from the railing of the college campus residential complex on Thursday morning in Bharrahi assistant police station area of Madhepura district of Bihar.
Prima facie the police is calling it a suicide, but is probing both the aspect of murder or suicide. According to the police, the body of Professor Mohammad Enanul was found hanging from the railing of the roof of the BEd MP College campus in Madhepura on Thursday. The dead body of the professor was hanging from the railing in the college campus housing complex with the help of a cloth around the neck.
For years he lived in this two-storey house. It is said that the professor, originally a resident of Lathiyahi village in West Champaran, had gone to his in-laws’ house in Bakrid with his family and returned to the college alone from there. When his body was seen hanging from the railing on Thursday morning, the police was informed about it.
Bharrahi OP’s in-charge Ramesh Kumar said that prima facie it seems to be a case of suicide. The body has been sent to the hospital for postmortem. The cause of death will be known only after the arrival of the post mortem report. He told that the police is investigating on both these points whether it is murder or suicide.
