One killed in accident between roadways bus and cruiser
Jind (Haryana). On Bhiwani road, near village Bibipur, another person under treatment in PGI died on Sunday in a collision between a roadways bus and a cruiser. The deceased Amarjeet was a resident of Petwad village in Hisar district and was working in Jind Court. As usual, he had left the village for duty towards Jind, but he could not reach on duty and in the middle he met with a painful accident.
Amarjeet was brought to Jind Civil Hospital in critical condition after the accident, from here he was referred to PGI Rohtak. Apart from this, the identity of an elderly person who died on Saturday could not be established, after which the photo of the deceased was put on social media and the family members saw his photo, after which he was identified as Mahendra, a resident of Sensor Khas. Mahendra was coming to his sister’s place in Jind’s Urban Estate Colony to give Kothli. Among the dead, Manoj, Hardeep, Urmila Devi, Sukhvindra of Mundhal Khurd in Bhiwani district, Rahul of Karimod of Dadri district, Sanjay of Siwan, Ravi of Madanhedi of Hisar, Mahendra of Sensor Khas died on the spot. 32-year-old Rekha of Bhaklana village, her 4-year-old son Dhairya and her sister-in-law Bimla, besides Amarjit of Petwad in Hisar, Hariom of Bahabalpur village and roadways operator Pradeep were seriously injured.
Significantly, there was a head-on collision between a bus and a cruiser of Bhiwani depot of Haryana Roadways near Bibipur village on Jind-Bhiwani road on Saturday morning. Due to heavy rain, the visibility ahead was less and when the cruiser driver tried to overtake, it had a head-on collision with the roadways bus. In this, eight people aboard the cruiser died on the spot. One person died during treatment after coming to the civil hospital in Jind. About seven people were referred to PGI, out of which Amarjeet, a resident of Petwad, also died on Sunday.
