Patna (IANS). The issue of teacher’s movement was also raised in the Legislative Council on Tuesday. During this, Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary said that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will meet the agitating teacher candidates and listen to their problems. However, he did not give any date for this.
As soon as the proceedings of the Legislative Council started, the BJP members created ruckus regarding the issue of teachers. After this, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary said that the Chief Minister would meet the teachers’ representatives and talk to them. He will initiate it himself.
Leader of the Opposition in the Legislature, Samrat Chaudhary, furiously said that when the teachers’ representatives are agitating for their rights in a democratic way, then why repressive action is being taken against them. Chaudhary said that on one hand it is being said that the Chief Minister will talk to the teachers’ representatives and on the other hand the agitating teachers are being arrested. Describing it as dictatorship, he said that the arrest of teachers is unfortunate.
