Principal took bribe of Rs 100 from school students, BEO removed the post

Janjgir-Champa. Sarpanch and villagers had complained to the Principal in-charge of Government Higher Secondary School, Siladehi. Seeing the seriousness of the matter, BEO MD Diwan reached the school on Tuesday. As soon as the BEO arrived, the sarpanch, the guardian, the villagers insisted on taking action against the in-charge principal Umashankar Khunte.

In view of the anger of the villagers and people’s representatives, the BEO, taking prompt action, has removed them from the school and attached them to RKK Government Higher Secondary School, Semaria, till further orders, and in their place Shamreen Khan has been made Principal in-charge of the school. BEO has submitted its report to DEO Janjgir. Umashankar Khunte, the in-charge of Government Higher Secondary School, Siladehi, was accused of taking Rs 100 from the students of the school in lieu of TC.

If not removed, there could have been a protest in front of the CM. In view of the anger of the villagers against the Principal in-charge of the Government Higher Secondary School, Siladehi, if they were not removed and attached, the villagers could have protested when the CM came to Birra on July 13, BEO By taking quick action, the matter was pacified.
