Raipur. In accordance with the instructions of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, the Chhattisgarh Yoga Commission is running a special campaign to raise awareness about yoga. Under this, the Commission is continuously making efforts to make people healthy by connecting them with yoga. Everyone should adopt a healthy lifestyle by practicing yoga on a regular basis, said Commercial Tax (Excise), Commerce, and Industry Minister Mr. Kawasi Lakhma while speaking at the Chhattisgarh Yoga Commission’s seven-day residential yoga training program organized for the Bastar division. This training camp was held at the ‘Yog Bhawan’ at Fundahar, Raipur. Mr. Gyanesh Sharma, Chairman of the Yoga Commission, was also present.
In a concerted effort to spread awareness regarding yoga, the Chhattisgarh Yoga Commission is organizing divisional-level yoga camps to increase public awareness about the advantages of yoga. Participants from Raipur and Bilaspur will be trained, followed by Bastar Division. The training will continue until July 13. About 150 participants from Bastar Division are participating in this seven-day residential yoga training program. Members of the Chhattisgarh Yoga Commission, Mr. Ravindra Singh and Mr. Rajesh Nara, Secretary Mr. M.L. Pandey, representatives of UNICEF, AIIMS Raipur, and Shri Rawatpura Sarkar University, along with yoga practitioners, were present on this occasion.
