Youth injured on friend’s birthday died, treatment was going on in Raipur

Bijapur. Due to heavy rains, a temporary earthen bridge built near Silger village on Basaguda to Jagargunda road was washed away. Due to which the contact between Silger and Bedre villages was broken, due to which the villagers here started facing problems in transportation. A weekly market is held on Wednesdays in Silger village. Hundreds of villagers from Chintalnar, Dorandarbha, Misigada, Kunder, Mandimarka, Ursangal and Gondpalli arrive in this market to get their essential items. Due to the breakdown of this bridge, the villagers here were facing difficulty in reaching the market.

As soon as the Commandant of CRPF 229 Battalion Pushpendra Kumar got information about this, on the orders of the Commandant and Mukhtar Singh, the second commanding officer, CRPF Battalion 229’s A and F Company jawans posted in Silger extended their hands to help the villagers and being deployed in the bridge helped the villagers. Be helpful and are leaving no stone unturned to build bridges.
