When Deepika was told Shah Rukh’s co-star, the actress got dizzy

Recently in an exclusive conversation, Dipika Kakar talked about her meeting with the King of Bollywood Shahrukh Khan in Mannat, her journey and the phase of struggle. He has said, the day when I had to meet Shahrukh Khan sir, I was neither feeling hungry nor could I see anyone. I remember Jaya Ojhaji was playing my on-screen mother in the show and I was sharing a room with her. She was teasing me that day, she was troubling me so much because I was not paying attention to anyone, I didn’t want to eat anything, I didn’t want to talk, I was very happy that I was going to Mannat. It was a huge moment for me. One, you are in Mumbai, you are getting such a big launch and then you are going to Shahrukh Khan’s house. That enthusiasm was of a different level.
When we entered the next day, refreshments were kept for the entire team by Mannat. We kept the whole thing in order and at that time Ashwini was a part of Yardi Maam channel. She was already with Shah Rukh and someone came and said, “Sir apne co-actor se milna chahte hain”, hearing that I fainted… (laughs). “My air flew away, I was called an actor. Till date, I could not get this thing out of my mind that I was called his co-star.
‘I can’t forget her eyes’
Deepika (Dipika Kakar) further said, he is very cute and he called me upstairs to meet. He said let me meet him before starting the shoot. I went up and met him and I can never forget that glimpse of him in my life. I still remember his eyes, he was getting ready and he leaned to one side and looked at me.
