Rajasthan State Fair Authority Bill – 2023 passed by voice vote, systematic management of fairs will be ensured – Devasthan Minister
Devasthan Minister Smt. Shakuntala Rawat said that the Rajasthan State Fair Authority Bill – 2023 has been brought for the safe organization of fairs in the state, systematic management and providing basic facilities. Under this, an effective authority and district committees will be established and formed in each district of the state, including all the concerned departments. Through these arrangements and facilities for electricity, water, toilets, parking, transport and stay etc. will be ensured for the devotees coming to the fairs.
The Devasthan Minister was replying to the discussion on the Rajasthan State Fair Authority Bill – 2023 in the Legislative Assembly on Wednesday. Earlier, Mrs. Rawat presented the bill in the House for discussion. After discussion, the House passed the bill by voice vote. Smt. Rawat said that a provision has been made in the Bill that the District Fair Committee will take a decision on the application for organizing the fair within seven days. Along with this, accidents will not happen in the fairs due to well organized management by the committee.
Devasthan Minister said that communal harmony has been the tradition of Rajasthan. Various fairs are organized in the state for the purpose of maintaining cordial atmosphere, love and harmony in which people of every caste, religion and class participate. The state government ensures arrangements in the fairs so that the people do not face trouble.
Earlier, the proposal to circulate the bill to know the public opinion was rejected by the house by voice vote.
