UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that Uttar Pradesh was not backward like this, dishonest and corrupt people were made to sit as samples at various places, who were engaged in making the entire state hollow. He said that in the last six years, five and a half crore people in Uttar Pradesh have come out of the poverty line and are leading a normal life. CM Yogi on Thursday addressed the appointment letter distribution program of a total of 700 newly appointed officers selected under the fair and transparent recruitment process organized at Lok Bhavan under Mission Employment.
During this, he said that six years ago there was a crisis of identity in front of the youth of Uttar Pradesh. The youth were ashamed to call themselves from Uttar Pradesh. Things have changed in our government. Today’s youth proudly calls himself a citizen of Uttar Pradesh. UP is moving fast with the process of development. Better work is being done in the field of infrastructure. Poor welfare schemes have been effectively implemented in the entire state.
We are living up to the expectations that the people of Uttar Pradesh had from the government. This became possible when the government, administration and every employee made a concerted effort. The statistics of NITI Aayog are witness to the fact that Uttar Pradesh is moving towards becoming the second largest economy of the country by coming out of the category of BIMARU state. Per capita income has doubled in Uttar Pradesh. UP has moved towards becoming a one trillion dollar economy. This has been possible through a collective effort.
CM Yogi said that after the Ayurveda scam, posts in the AYUSH department were lying pending for years. The whole process was disrupted. Today 422 Ayush Medical Officers are being appointed here.
