Drug addict enters Bihar’s prohibition school, thrashes children with sticks, 11 children injured
Muzaffarpur (IANS). A strange incident came to light on Friday from a school in Bihar’s Muzaffarpur, where liquor was banned. Where a drunk youth entered the school and started beating the children studying indiscriminately with a stick. This made the children panic. At least 11 children are said to be injured in this incident.
It is said that on Thursday, an inebriated youth barged into the classroom and brutally thrashed the children studying in Khemaipatti, a primary school in Sakra block. According to the teachers, Santosh Paswan, a resident of the village, suddenly entered the classroom with a stick in his hand and thrashed all the children who were in front of him. On the sound of children crying and shouting, the teacher-teacher reached and started calling people making noise. Paswan ran away when the teachers and people reached.
It is said that 11 children of first, second and third classes were injured in this incident. When the search was started by the local people, he was hiding in his house, which was caught and beaten up by the villagers and then handed over to the police.
Sakra police station in-charge Raju Kumar Pal told that a person named Santosh Paswan has been caught in an inebriated condition. The headmistress of the local school has complained against him that he barged into the class room and beat up the children and then ran away. The youth is being questioned. The police is trying to find out why he thrashed the children.
