Dead body of teacher found in accident in waterfall
Korba. The dead body of a teacher has been found flowing in Devpahari Waterfall, a tourist destination of the district. The teacher, who had come here for a picnic on Friday, slipped from the rock and got swept away in the water. The flow of water was very fast. After the teacher fell in the waterfall, the SDRF team was searching for him in the Chornai river. Finally on Saturday, the death of the drowned teacher was confirmed, his body was recovered. The search operation was carried out with the help of Lemru Police, Municipal Army, SDRF and local rural divers.
Teacher Satyajit Raha, a resident of Akaltara district Janjgir Champa, along with his two other teachers had reached Devpaharhi to enjoy the weather and visit the waterfall. While bathing in the waterfall, his foot slipped from the rock and he got swept away in the waterfall. His age is said to be around 50 years. He had a lot of fame for English coaching. After receiving the dead body of Satyajit Raha, it was handed over to the relatives after legal action and panchnama. Due to the death of the teacher, a wave of mourning has spread among the students, teachers and acquaintances.
