Indian woman reaches Pakistan to meet Facebook friend
New Delhi: Anju, who went from Bhiwadi in Rajasthan to a remote village in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to meet a man named Nasrullah, will return to India on August 20. Anju has a 30-day visa to Pakistan and it expires on August 20. Only then will she leave for India from Pakistan. Pakistani media reports claimed that Anju and Nasrullah had met on Facebook and since then the two had started talking. Then the phone numbers were also shared, then things started happening on WhatsApp. It was said in the Pak media that in a few days Anju and she would get engaged. Then Anju will return to India.
Not only this, it was claimed that Anju would once again come to Pakistan and then both would get married. However, now Nasrullah himself has denied the claims of Pak media. Nasrulla told that Anju has come here only to meet him. Nasrullah (29) said he has no plans to marry 34-year-old Anju. Anju was born in Kailor village of Uttar Pradesh and lived in Alwar, Rajasthan. Nasrullah and Anju befriended in 2019 through Facebook. “Anju has come to Pakistan and we have no plans to get married,” Nasrullah said over the phone from Kulsho village, about 300 km from Peshawar.
He said, ‘She will return to her country after the visa expires on August 20. Anju stays in my house in another room along with other women in the family. Anju has come to meet Nasrullah in the tribal district of Upper Dir in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on a valid visa. Anju has been granted a 30-day visa only for Upper Dir district, according to an official document sent by Pakistan’s Interior Ministry to the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi. Nasrullah is a science graduate from Sheringal-based University and is the youngest of five brothers.
