Government vehicle drivers on strike from today
Raipur. Government vehicle drivers of Chhattisgarh will be on one-day strike today. Wheels of vehicles of 47 departments will stop. Today, 7 thousand regular and 3 thousand daily wage earners, contract, work-charged government vehicle drivers will be on casual leave regarding 8-point demands.
About 10,000 government vehicle drivers will demonstrate in Tuta, in which drivers of ministers, IAS and departmental officers will be on strike. Their demand is to be given 2800 grade pay. Irregular drivers should be regularized. Recruitment of government vehicle drivers should be stopped.
