Diarrhea in two students of girls hostel, treatment continues in Sims

Bilaspur. Diarrhea along with conjunctivitis has now reached hostels in urban and rural areas of Bilaspur. Kamla Nehru Girls Hostel located in Rajendra Nagar has been evacuated. There, two girls are admitted in Sims. The special thing is that the officials of the health department are not even aware of this. Now the sick girls have left their studies and gone home and are getting their treatment done. Please tell that there are about 100 students in the hostel.

In the rainy season, diarrhea has started wreaking havoc in urban areas as well as in rural areas. The seasonal disease conjunctivitis is widespread in most areas. In such a situation, now the schoolgirls living in hostels are also at risk of seasonal diseases.

For the past few days, girl students of Girls Hostel located in Rajendra Nagar started having vomiting and diarrhea as well as eye problems. The hostel superintendent and staff took the girl students to the hospital for treatment, after which the hostel was evacuated in view of the possibility of spreading the disease. There are three girls hostels in the campus and girl students were facing trouble at all the three places, after which they have been sent home. They have been instructed to come to the hostel when the situation becomes normal.
