newly married woman missing from train
Patna (IANS). A newly married woman went missing from a train in Bihar’s Kishanganj district. Kajal Kumari along with her husband was going to Darjeeling for honeymoon in New Delhi-New Jalpaiguri superfast train on July 28. The couple had boarded the train from Muzaffarpur in Bihar.
The woman’s husband said, “We had reserved seats in coach number B4 in seat number 43 and 45. When the train reached Kishanganj railway station, my wife went to the toilet and did not return. After the train started, I searched every compartment of the train but could not find it. Then I returned to Muzaffarpur and informed GRP Kishanganj about the incident.”
They suspected that she might be a victim of a drug gang. He said that he had no illicit relationship with any other person.
Following the complaint, the GRP officials searched the CCTV footage of Kishanganj railway station but could not find it.
The complainant is an employee in the Electricity Department in Muzaffarpur and is a native of Kurhani block. He had married the woman six months ago, but could not go on his honeymoon soon after the wedding due to family issues.
