PM Modi Holds Meetings With NDA MPs To Strengthen Coalition For 2024 Poll Battle
In an unprecedented move aimed at strengthening the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has embarked on a unique strategy to ensure maximum collaboration among alliance members.
Taking a region-wise approach, PM Modi is scheduled to hold a series of Cluster meetings with groups of NDA MPs between July 31 and August 10. These meetings are designed to foster greater synergy and coordination among the NDA constituents as they gear up for the electoral battle, according to ANI
Earlier this week, BJP leaders convened a crucial meeting in the national capital where they formed ten groups of NDA MPs. The purpose of these groups is to deliberate on comprehensive programs for the upcoming general elections. This strategic step aims to address the challenges posed by the united front of the opposition.
The first set of meetings, labeled as “Cluster-1,” is slated to take place at Maharashtra Sadan. On Monday at 6 PM, PM Modi will meet with groups of NDA MPs from West Uttar Pradesh, Bundelkhand, and Brij region. Accompanying him will be key figures such as BJP National President JP Nadda, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and Home Minister Amit Shah, further emphasizing the significance of these meetings.
Following this, the “Cluster-2” meetings will occur at the Parliament Annexe building at 7 PM on the same day. These meetings will involve NDA MPs from West Bengal, Jharkhand, and Odisha, with Rajnath Singh and Amit Shah also attending.
To ensure seamless coordination and execution of this innovative strategy, Union ministers Nitin Gadkari, Amit Shah, and Rajnath Singh, along with BJP chief JP Nadda, have been assigned the responsibility of coordinating with NDA leaders. Additionally, four other leaders, including Bhupendra Yadav, Sarbananda Sonowal, Tarun Chugh, and Rituraj, have been entrusted with overseeing the NDA programs.
With a clear objective to secure a 50 percent vote share in the Lok Sabha elections, the BJP has identified 160 relatively weak constituencies. Intensive efforts are being made to bolster the party’s prospects in these regions.
Apart from parliamentary initiatives, various programs will be held at different state bhavans in the national capital, providing ample opportunities for regional leaders to collaborate and strategize effectively.
This groundbreaking approach marks the first time that region-wise deliberations have been initiated among NDA leaders. As the NDA celebrates its 25th anniversary, this unique strategy is expected to set the narrative for the 2024 poll battle, demonstrating the alliance’s commitment to its constituents and the electorate at large.
As the political landscape evolves, all eyes will be on the NDA’s response to the opposition’s united front, making these meetings an essential step towards shaping the future of Indian politics. With 38 parties under its fold, the BJP-led NDA is determined to leave no stone unturned in ensuring a successful and cohesive electoral campaign.
