Trucks collide face to face on National Highway, driver injured
Bastar. Two trucks collided head-on on National Highway 30 in the district. The accident happened in Jhiram Valley. The drivers of both the vehicles received minor injuries. Those who have been admitted to the hospital. After the accident, there was a long queue of vehicles on both sides. However, somehow the CRPF jawans removed the truck and opened the way. The case is of Darbha police station area.
According to information, the accident took place on the way from Jagdalpur to Sukma via Jhiram Valley. It is being told that a truck was coming from Sukma towards Jagdalpur. On the other hand, another truck was going towards Sukma from the opposite direction i.e. from Jagdalpur. Meanwhile, both of them had a face-to-face collision near Jhiram Valley. Due to the collision, the front portion of both the vehicles have been blown away.
However, the drivers of both the vehicles are safe. The road was blocked after the accident. There was a long traffic jam on the road leading to both the cities of Sukma and Jagdalpur. After which CRPF 227 battalion personnel reached the spot. Who removed both the vehicles. The injured drivers were referred to the hospital. It took about 1 to 1.5 hours to restore the route.
