Miscreants absconded after looting Rs 1 crore from Axis Bank in Bihar
Hajipur (IANS). On Tuesday, unknown miscreants looted one crore rupees from Axis Bank in Lalganj police station area of Vaishali district of Bihar and easily escaped. Police reached the spot after the incident and are investigating.
It is said that on Tuesday, five armed miscreants who came on two bikes entered the Axis Bank located in Pulwa Chowk as customers. Then, after executing the incident, they fled. It is said that the miscreants fled after looting more than Rs 1 crore. As soon as the information of the incident was received, the police reached the spot and got involved in the investigation.
Regional Inspector General of Police Pankaj Sinha also reached the spot and gave necessary instructions to the officials. He said that raids have been started to arrest the miscreants. Vehicles are being searched on all exit routes from the district. In this case, the police is probing all angles.
It is said that the miscreants broke the CCTV cameras as soon as they entered the bank. After this the incident of robbery was carried out. The miscreants also took the hard disk of CCTV with them during the robbery.
