Two smugglers arrested with intoxicating cough syrup in Raipur

Making all out efforts to root it out, action is being taken against the unknown accused involved in this black business.
In the same sequence, on July 31, the team of Amanaka police station received information that 02 persons riding a two-wheeler near the petrol pump located at Hirapur under Amanaka police station area were keeping banned intoxicating syrup with them and were looking for a customer to sell. On which Additional Superintendent of Police City / Crime Abhishek Maheshwari, Additional Superintendent of Police West Jai Prakash Carpenter and City Superintendent of Police Azad Chowk Mayank Gurjar (I.P.S.) and after verifying the information to Station House Officer Amanaka, arrested the accused with banned intoxicating syrup. Was directed to be caught red-handed. On which, under the direction of senior officers and under the leadership of station in-charge Amanaka, the team of police station Amanaka went to the said place and identified the two-wheeler vehicles and persons of the appearance told by the informer and caught them. During interrogation, the persons told their names to be Siraj Ahmed alias Bablu and Imran Khan alias Montu resident of Raipur. On search of the bag carried by the team members, it was found to be containing banned intoxicant syrup. On which the accused arrested both the accused and seized 150 pieces of banned intoxicant syrup Codeine and 01 piece of two-wheeler number CG/04/CQ/1764 Jumla worth about Rs. 300/23 Section 21C Narcotics Act crime was registered and action was taken.

(01) Siraj Ahmed alias Bablu father late Niyaz Ahmed age 45 years resident Jyoti Nagar near Mahant Talab Kota police station Saraswati Nagar Raipur.
(02) Imran Khan alias Montu father Razzak Khan age 25 years resident of Tatibandh Rotary Nagar house number block no L/10 police station Amanaka Raipur.
