There was a fight-like situation between the MLAs with finger-pointing and arm-raising. The speaker handled the situation by issuing martial alert and adjournment of proceedings.
On Wednesday, where BJP MLA Dhullu Mahato and JMM MLA Sudivya Kumar Sonu were ready to clash with each other threatening to see each other on the issue of illegal coal mining.
At the same time, on Thursday, an indecent situation arose during the uproar over a statement by Congress MLA Irfan Ansari.
While protesting on this issue, BJP MLA Shashibhushan Mehta moved towards Irfan Ansari while showing finger, then Irfan Ansari also started moving forward to confront him.
Congress MLA Dr. Irfan Ansari had commented on tribals and BJP Legislature Party leader Babulal Marandi in the House on the previous day. He had said that how can the tribals be so fast?
Irfan Ansari and Alamgir Alam, leader of the Congress Legislature Party, apologized on behalf of the party in the assembly amidst the ruckus of the opposition on Thursday. Even after this, the ruckus in the house did not stop, then the speaker adjourned the house till 2 pm.
Meanwhile, Irfan Ansari said that he is well wisher of tribal society. Whatever happened that day, it was carried forward by the people of BJP. The people of BJP are such, who urinated on the face of tribals. If anyone has been hurt by his words, he expresses regret.
The uproar did not stop even after Irfan’s statement, so the proceedings of the house had to be adjourned till noon. BJP MLA Shashibhushan Prasad Mehta, while talking to the media, even said that if Irfan Ansari does not apologise, his tongue will be pulled out.
