School in Kojra, PHC and fair price shop in Nandiya with village level public hearing by District Collector
District Collector Dr. Bhanwar Lal conducted a surprise inspection of Gram Panchayat level public hearing in Gram Panchayat Kojra and Nadia and effectively directed the concerned officers for the public hearing and after getting detailed information about the complaint from the villagers present in the public hearing, to solve the problem. Gave instructions to the concerned officers.
After that the District Collector also inspected Government Higher Secondary School Kojra and took stock of the preparations for the Rural Olympic Games starting from August 05 and also took arrangements from the concerned authorities, in addition to this, the pending construction of the four walls of the playground of the school. Directed the Assistant Engineer Panchayat Samiti, Pindwara, to get the proposal made, and also inspected Nandia’s fair price shop and got information about distribution and got information about the quality of food grains from the people present. While inspecting Nandia’s Primary Health Center, the Village Development Officer was directed to improve the roof of the labor room within a month. On the other hand, information about free medicine scheme, free check-up scheme, etc. was obtained from the medical officer and necessary instructions were given. Concerned officials including Pindwara Sub-Divisional Officer Hansmukh Kumar were present during the inspection.

Rajiv Gandhi Rural/Urban Olympic Sports Competitions to start from 05 August
The enthusiasm among the players of Sirohi district is at its peak
Sirohi, 03 August. In compliance of the Chief Minister’s budget announcement, Rajiv Gandhi Rural/Urban Olympic sports competitions are being organized in the entire state from August 05 to August 10.
District Collector Dr. Bhanwar Lal told that all the preparations have been completed for organizing the Rajiv Gandhi Rural and Urban Olympic sports competitions. He told that the main purpose of organizing these sports competitions is to provide opportunities to the talented players of rural and urban level and to provide a big platform to the players, through which the players can display their talent from village and district level to the state level. . Children, old men, youth, women, girls will all participate in this competition and bring laurels to their village and district. Mr. Bhanwar Lal has given necessary instructions to all the subdivision officers, development officers, district education officers, block education officers, executive officers along with all PEEOs and UCEEOs for successful events.
Chief District Education Officer Smt. Ganga Kalawant told that a large number of people have registered for this competition in Sirohi district with enthusiasm. There are 75867 in Rural Olympics, in which 43969 are men and 31896 are women, while the total registration in Urban Olympics is 31124, in which 17600 are men and 13524 are women. Physical teachers/teachers/personnel have been deputed for judging in all gram panchayats and body areas for organizing competitions.
District Sports Officer Ashok Chaudhary said that the work of formation of teams has been completed, in which 6766 teams in Rural Olympics, in which 3736 men’s category, 3030 women’s category teams were formed, in the same urban Olympics 3537 teams, in which 1984 men’s category, 1553 women’s category. Team formation has been completed. Rural and urban Olympic sports competitions will be formally inaugurated on August 05 at 09.00 am simultaneously in all Gram Panchayats and Municipal Councils/Municipalities.
Inauguration of Gram Panchayat level competitions:- Games will be inaugurated in Gram Panchayat Janapura of Panchayat Samiti Pindwara, Paldi M of Shivganj, Danvav of Abu Road, Padiv of Sirohi and Gram Panchayat Udwari of Revdar.
In Panchayat Samiti Pindwara, 1299 teams, 1485 in Shivganj, 1166 in Abu Road, 1210 in Sirohi and 1606 teams in Panchayat Samiti Revdar i.e. total 6766 have been formed.
City Olympic ward level competitions will be inaugurated at Arvind Pavilion, Sirohi at Arvind Pavilion, Pindwara at Raumavi Jawal, Jawal at Raumavi Jawal, Mount Abu at Pologround, Abu Road at Raumavi Darbar School and Shivganj’s pavilion will be inaugurated from Shivganj. Similarly, a total of 3537 teams have been formed in the urban areas. In which 802 teams have been formed in Municipal Council Sirohi, 671 in Shivganj, 608 in Abu Road, 604 in Pindwara, 409 in Jawal and 443 in Municipal Mount Abu.
Order passed to pay Rs 57,180/- to North Western Railway
Sirohi, 03 August. District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission Chairman Abhimanyu Singh Rathod and member Ujjwal Sankhla ordered North Western Railway to pay Rs 57,180 within 45 days at 9 percent annual interest rate, along with Rs 20,000/- as mental anguish and complaint Rs.5,000/- was also imposed as damages.
The applicant Phoolchand Jain, resident of Shanti Nagar Sirohi, had got tickets and return tickets from Ahmedabad to Chennai for his son and other members of the complaint. Due to the death of someone in the applicant’s family, the applicant had to postpone the journey and reached Abu Road railway station to cancel the ticket. But, citing demonetisation, the Railways refused to pay the ticket refund amount in cash to Phoolchand and assured to deposit the refund amount in the applicant’s daughter-in-law’s account. Despite Phoolchand surrendering the journey ticket at the proper time as per the rules, the applicant did not receive the refund amount of the ticket. Due to which the applicant filed a complaint in the District Commission.
