RI in odisha vigilance net, caught while accepting bribe
Jagatsinghpur: Today a short while ago RI (Revenue Inspector), Goda and in-charge RI, Padmapur under Ersama Tahasil of Jagatsinghpur has been apprehended by Odisha Vigilance
The accused identified as RI Nrusingha Charan Rout, was caught while demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs. 6,000/- from a Complainant.
The bribe was being demanded in order to submit an enquiry report in his favour in a Mutation Case. The entire bribe money has been recovered from the exclusive possession of accused Rout, RI and seized.
Following the trap, simultaneous searches are going on at two locations of Sri Rout, RI from D.A angle. In this connection, Cuttack Vigilance PS case no. 26/2023 U/s-7PC Amendment Act, 2018 has been registered.
