Marketing agent got serious injury due to truck collision, case registered against driver

Bilaspur: A marketing agent has suffered serious injuries after a truck collided near Maharana Pratap Chowk. The police have registered a case against the truck driver. The case is of Civil Line police station area. Omprakash Tamrakar (65), who lives behind the CMHO office, is a marketing agent at Sarvamangala Agency. On Saturday morning at 11.45 am, bike number CG 10 AP 2764 was going towards Vyapar Vihar with goods from Sarvamangala Agency.

The driver of truck number CG 12 C 2646 coming from behind hit near Maharana Pratap Chowk at around 12 o’clock while driving fast and carelessly. The coppersmith got injured due to this. After the incident, the truck driver fled with the vehicle. Omprakash called and informed his acquaintances Praveen Chadha and Rajesh Thakur. They took him to the hospital. After getting treatment from here, came to the police station and filed a report. The police have registered a case against the accused truck driver.
