Jan Samman Video Contest – Due to huge enthusiasm among the people, the video contest has been extended till September 5 – State
An online video competition ‘Jan Samman Video Contest’ was organized on social media from July 7 to August 6 by the state government to provide complete information about public welfare schemes to the general public and ensure the real benefits of the schemes to the general public with respect. . Due to the huge enthusiasm among the people, the Jan Samman Video Contest has been extended till 5th September. Thousands of videos are being uploaded everyday. First, second, third and 100 inspiration prizes are being given daily by selecting the best videos from the videos uploaded daily on the Jan Samman Video Contest website as per the prescribed procedure.
District Collector Ashish Gupta said that this contest has proved to be a useful platform in providing maximum benefits to the general public by giving them information about all the welfare schemes of the government. The duration of the video contest has been extended with the aim that the eligible persons can get maximum benefit of the important schemes of the state government and they can be widely publicised. Through video contest, common people are making videos based on the schemes and sharing them on social media. With this not only they are winning the prize money but also sharing the information about the schemes with each other.
It is notable that the Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot started the Jan Samman video contest on 7th July. In this contest, the people of the state showed great enthusiasm and won prizes by uploading videos related to public welfare schemes of the state on their two social media handles daily using Rushrandenuundshrampatranjeend.
In this contest, common people are making videos based on important decisions of the state government including 10 welfare schemes, schemes, schemes related to women-girls-youth-elderly and sharing on their social media handles.
This is how you can participate in the contest-
After getting information about 10 public welfare schemes or various public welfare schemes of the state government, made a video of 30 to 120 seconds related to them and upload them on at least two social media platforms with the hash tag Rushrandaiundshramptranjeind. Share the link of the videos on the website randenuundantranjeindanhvaanpad.
Videos can also be made on Rajiv Gandhi Urban and Rural Olympic Games-
Videos can also be made based on Rajiv Gandhi Rural and Urban Olympic Games starting from August 5 in the state and Indira Gandhi Smartphone Yojana which is going to start from August 10. Along with the 10 schemes included in the inflation relief camp, other schemes or more than one scheme run by the state government can also be selected.
An amount of one lakh rupees being given as the first prize-
In the video contest, the winners are being given Rs 1 lakh as first prize, Rs 50,000 as second prize and Rs 25,000 as third prize. Apart from this, 100 Prerna Puraskars of Rs 1000 are also being given daily.
To participate in the contest, it is necessary for the participant to be registered in Janadhar. Also, the participant should have his/her own bank account and it should be registered in Jan Aadhaar (consent for other bank account linked to Jan Aadhaar in case of not own account).

A 15-member screening panel and a state-level selection committee have been formed for screening videos on a daily basis.
- The result of each day’s competition is released after two days.
The prize money is transferred through online DBT to the bank accounts linked to the Jan Aadhaar card of the winners on the day of publication of the result.
