Surat: Trying to prevent heart attack, CPR training campaign by BJP
After Corona, cases of heart attack are increasing in the entire state, CPR training has been planned by the state government and the medical cell of the Bharatiya Janata Party. CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) training was imparted to 65000 persons simultaneously by more than 1200 experts in 38 medical colleges across Gujarat including Surat.
CPR training was given in the presence of Patil
The CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) training campaign organized by the Bharatiya Janata Party’s doctor’s cell was inaugurated at Surat Navi Civil Hospital by State BJP President and MP CR Patil in the presence of Minister of State for Home Harshbhai Sanghvi. During the whole day, 140 doctors trained CPR to 3000 BJP workers in Civil Hospital and 2700 in Smeer Hospital.
Expert doctors gave information about how to give first aid at the time of heart attack. Detailed information was also given about how to provide better treatment to the patients at the earliest. CPR training can save a person’s life if a CPR-trained person is present between the time a person has an immediate heart attack and is taken to a hospital. 108 emergency service personnel were honored in the programme.
Record of training more than 60,000 people in a day
On this occasion, the MP said that in the last two and a half years, doctors have made the health campaign of the central government and the state government successful in the state by doing special work. CPR training camp has been organized today, which is an effort to train more than 60 thousand people in the entire state, so far there is a record of training 26 thousand people in a day, today to set a record in Gujarat. We have tried to train more than 60,000 people in a day.
After Corona, many such cases have been seen in which there is a possibility of death of the person if there is time between the attack and treatment, if the treatment is received immediately, then the life of the person can be saved. A trained person, if present, will give the person treatment that could have saved the person’s life in the interval between CPR and getting to the hospital. Many people have died after Corona, even the youth.
Similarly, training programs have been organized in entire South Gujarat including Navsari, Valsad. Around 140 doctors have come to Surat for training. The doctors who have done a great job in the time of Corona have served without worrying about their lives, which deserves a lot of congratulations. Any person who will get immediate treatment through this training and his life will be saved, many lives will be saved through this scheme.
Minister of State for Home Harsh Bhai Sanghvi, MLA Purneshbhai Modi, Sangitaben Patil, Manubhai Patel, President of Surat Mahanagar Medical Cell Dr. Shirishbhai, R.M.O. Dr. Ketan Patel, Iqbal Kadiwala of Gujarat Nursing Council, Dr. Ritumbhara Mehta, Dean of the Medical College, Medical Department officials, doctors, corporators, officials and citizens were present in large numbers.
