15-year-old minor raped, accused arrested

Balrampur. An incident of rape with a minor has come to light in Balrampur district of Chhattisgarh. It is being told that after finding the minor alone, the youth took her on the pretext of marriage and then raped her. The whole matter is of Shankargarh police station area. In fact, the 15-year-old girl ran away from her home and went to Ambikapur.

Finding her alone at the bus stand, a young man named Rajat Thather took her in his trap. He promised marriage to the minor and raped her. Here the family members also filed a missing report of the girl child. The police swung into action and recovered the girl from Ambikapur and on the basis of her statement arrested the accused and sent him to jail.
