Raipur. The continuous rains in Chhattisgarh for the last few days have now come to a halt. As of now there are no signs of good rains. The Meteorological Department says that due to the effect of Monsoon Dronika, there is a possibility of light rain in different areas of the state. Also, there will be no significant change in the maximum and minimum temperature. At the same time, according to the Meteorological Department, from August 11, the weather patterns can change once again.
The state has received 616.1 mm of rain till August 5, which is three percent less than the normal rainfall. Along with this, Bijapur has received the maximum rainfall in the state at 1074.6 mm and Surguja has received the least rainfall at 327.9 mm. Raipur has received 775.2 mm of rainfall, which is 36 percent more than normal.
