The fifth mile bridge on the Kotdwara-Duggadda road has collapsed due to heavy rains. Along with this, the road is blocked due to the arrival of many big stones and hundreds of vehicles are stuck in the jam.
People say that they are facing problems due to heavy rains.
Kotdwar MLA Ritu Khanduri Bhushan said that due to continuous heavy rains since the past days, all the rivers and drains in Kotdwar are in spate, landslides are happening on the hilly roads. Please avoid going near river drains.
