CM Dhami reached disaster control room, reviewed the situation of heavy rains
Dehradun (IANS). Incessant rains in Uttarakhand have caused heavy damage due to landslides in many places and many roads have been closed. There are also many such places, where houses have become razed to the ground.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reached the control room Dehradun on Wednesday. Where he held ideal-related talks with top officials. Along with this, many guidelines were also given.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami did aerial and ground inspection at Haridwar, Pauri (Kotdwar), Udham Singh Nagar, Nainital. Earlier, visiting the Disaster Control Room located at the Secretariat also reviewed the situation of heavy rains.
Due to the incessant rains in Uttarakhand, the problems of the people are not getting reduced. Since the onset of monsoon, the entire state has received more than 100 per cent rainfall so far. The rain has wreaked havoc from the mountains to the plains.
Till now many people have lost their lives in landslides caused by torrential rains in the mountains. People are being rescued due to flood-like situation at many places in the plains.
